Out of all the Dr Who toys that we have seen this year it’s the Dr Who Ride In Dalek that has got us the most excited!
We first got to see the Ride in Dalek at this year’s Toy Fair back in Janurary and the anticipation has been growing ever since! Doctor Who fans are going to go crazy over this amazing inflatable battery powered Dalek.
Just take a look at this video to see the Dr Who Ride in Dalek in action and you tell us that this isn’t one of the coolest things you have ever seen:

Since this toy hit the headlines over the last week with a number of retailers predicting it will be one of the hottest toys for Christmas 2011 pre-sales have increased by a massive 230% which is huge!
So let’s take a better look at the Dr Who Ride In Dalek.
Well to start with this isn’t just any ordinary inflatable, the designers and makers of the Ride In Dalek called Kids@Playhave designed a unique and patented concept of an inflatable body attached to a high density plastic base thus making this Dalek extremly safe and child friendly.
The actual Dalek inflatable body is made from a mixture of ballistic nylon/laminated rubberised polyvinyl which is soft and tactile to the touch and so makes the Ride in Dalek very durable, structurally safe, tear resistant and easy to inflate and assemble.
This of course is the most important consideration for parents and at a high price tag, parents are going to want something that can stand up to some strong playtime fun!
The Dalek has a 6v battery powered motor which gives it a 360 degree steering and a maximum speed of 3km per hour.
The battery is re-chargeable and comes complete with country specific charger.
The steering wheel has 10 authentic Dalek phrases that are button activated.
The ride-in Dalek comes with flashing lights for an atmospheric glow, giving the child the maximum realistic feeling of being in the Dalek and moving around like a Dalek.
This really is one of the best toys we have seen for Doctor Who fans and kids really are going to go crazy over this amazing toy.
To start with there will only be a Red and Blue Dalek available to buy with other colours arriving around Christmas.

The Dr Who Character Building Dalek Progenitor Room mini setrecreates the classic scene from the Dr Who series where the Dr and Amy Pond venture onto the Dalek spaceship only to be confronted by a new race of super daleks that have just come out of the Progenitor chamber and now are hell bent on not only killing the Dr and Amy but also destroying earth itself!
The Dr Who Dalek Progenitor Room mini set is a fantastic addition to the new Doctor Who Character Buildingseries and is easy to put together thanks to the detailed instructions, if you play and build Lego sets then you will not have any trouble with this set. The Dr Who Character Building Dalek Progenitor Room mini set comes with approx 108 pieces and one micro figure which is the white supreme Dalek. NB. 11th Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver Toy

Doctor Who is back with a whole new Doctor in the shape of Matt Smith who did an excellent job on Saturday and looks like being a great Doctor Who for the next few years.
Of course with a new Doctor Who comes the new Matt Smith Doctor Who toys and Character Options will be releasing the new 11th Doctor Who Toys almost at the same time as the Doctor Who episodes are shown on television so now you don’t need to be waiting for months before you get your new 2010 Doctor Who figures and toys.
Already Character Options have just released the new 11th Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver toy which we got to see on the first Matt Smith Doctor Who episode.
This new Doctor Who sonic screwdriver is larger, with a luminous green light but continues to be an essential part of the Doctor’s equipment as he explores the universe.
Character Options have faithful copied the new Doctor’s trusty Sonic Screwdriver which has a new spring loaded extending action.
Pressing the button on the side of the handle activates the LED and Sound FX which operates in CLOSED mode. Flip open the cap at the end of the Screwdriver to reveal an additional button that activates the light and sound effects when it is in full extension OPEN mode.
