Lego Star Wars 2010 sets

Has we head out of the Toy Fair season for 2010 I’m going to start posting about all the toys and games to look out for in 2010.

Starting off with lego, we have already previewed the new January range of lego sets for Atlantis and Lego Toy Story and now comes the turn of the big boys with Lego Star Wars.

Lego Star Wars is always one of the most anticipated of all the lego sets and 2010 looks like being one of the best years ever to be a lego Star Wars fan with six exciting star wars sets already released including:

and if this isn’t enough to wet your appetite then just wait untill you see what’s coming in the Summer it’s enough to get you crazy with excitment, you can look forward to: Slave 1, a brand new AT-AT, the Clone Turbo Tank and wampa cave to name but a few, I will be making additional posts on these sets in the coming weeks.

Lego Atlantis – Find out where to get the best deals

at03f Every year Lego brings us new and exciting themes to collect and build and after 2009′s successful Power Miners range comes Lego Atlantis.

Lego Atlantis takes your adventures deep beneath the ocean in the hunt for the Lost underwater city of Atlantis, but be careful because you are not alone down there!

The new 2010 lego theme Atlantis really is a great and exciting range which I prefer to last years power miners. Lego have released seven sets to start off with and they all retail under £40 which is a great price point for birthdays and general collecting, you will see most of the bigger Atlantis sets in the Summer which is normally when you get the big sets that will dominate the Xmas 2010 market like last years Temple of Doom and Battle of Endor sets.

Buzz’s Star Command Spaceship Lego Set deals

Next in our feature on the new Toy Story Lego sets is Buzz’s Star Command Spaceship which is lego 7593 for those who follow the lego id numbers.

Straight away you know that Buzz’s Star Command Spaceship is going to be a massive hit with kids and collectors and to be honest it really does live up to that tag as a must-have.

The Buzz Star Command Spaceship comes with 257 lego pieces and is the second most expensive set out of the 6 behind Woody’s Round-up, but in my opinion it’s worth every penny. I found this set really quick to build and my little boy who is 7 had no problems, buzz’s spaceship has great little features such as being able to not only open the cockpit but also the cargo hold which I found to be a great extra touch.

You also get a great little moon buggy which fits nicely inside the ship and you get of course a Buzz Lightyear mini fig and also his evil nemises Zurg.

Altogether this Lego set rocks and every Toy Story fan will want this with there collection.

Toy Story Woody’s Round up – Lego 7594

The biggest of the new Toy Story lego sets is Woody’s Roundup and it really is a must-have for all Toy Story Lego fans.

Toy Story Woody’s Roundup comes with a whopping 502 pieces and you get 4 lego mini figures including bullseye, woody, jessie and Stinky Pete which is worth the price of this set alone.

I love this lego set and found it really easy to put together and is great value for money even though it’s the most expensive.

Woody and Buzz to the Rescue Lego 7590

Next on the list of the new Toy Story Lego sets comes Woody and Buzz to the Rescue, which is Lego 7590.

Straight from the iconic scene in the first Toy Story movie you can now recreate the whole adventure with RC too!

For under £15 the Lego Woody and Buzz to the rescue lego set is fantastic value for money and not just because you get the woody and buzz lego mini figures but you also get RC along for the ride.

The build on this set is also quite simple so younger children should have no problems putting this lego set together. One of the great extras on the Woody and Buzz to the rescue lego set is that you can pull back RC and watch him race across the floor!

This really is another top class set and should be on every Toy Story Lego fans wanted list.

Toy Story Lego sets are dominating Lego sales at the moment and with the release of Toy Story 3 only a few months away Toy Story hype is going to go ballistic!

The basic lego set in the new Toy Story range is a real cracker, yes it’s the loveable army men on patrol lego set.
